We would like to cordially invite all of our community Veterans and their spouses to our third annual Veterans Day Program at Napoleon Elementary School. Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, there will be no school on Friday, November 9 th. Therefore, we will honor our Veterans with a special program on Monday, November 12 th. The program will be split into two separate parts in order to accommodate our Veterans who have students on both the PK-2 side and the 3-6 side.
Veterans with students on both sides of the building are invited to attend both programs. Below are the details for each program:9:00 a.m.
Grades BK-2 Veterans Day Assembly.Please remember, our Preschool students are unable to participate due to their class schedules.9:30 a.m. Coffee and donuts for guests in the NES cafeteria.Those Veterans attending only the Grades 3-6 program are invited to come earlier for refreshments so our program can begin promptly at 9:45 a.m.9:45 a.m. Grades 3-6 Veterans Day AssemblyBoth programs will take place in the NES gymnasium.
There will be bleachers and chairs to accommodate all guests. For our Veterans attending the first program, please arrive after 8:30 a.m. As this allows our morning traffic to lessen following student drop-offs in the morning.
Guests may use either front entrance of our building as we will have greeters at each door to help direct everyone to the correct location. Guests may use the parking lot located in front of the building with overflow parking available across the street.We look forward to seeing our Veterans on Monday, November 12 th, as we honor this important day in history and in our very own community.
RANDY OLSON(HD VIDEO) The Veterans Day program held at B-B-E elementary on November 11, 2019.Sixth grade students recited information and stories about Veterans Day. Members of the B-B-E high school band and choir also performed songs, and the Pope County Men's Chorus also sang songs. Maci Wright and Marie Kaiser, winners of the Belgrade V.F.W. 1825 Voice of Democracy essay contest gave their speeches.
